It is a deep conditioner that doesn't strip or damage the hair in any way. In fact, it penetrated beneath the surface to strengthen hair and restore moisture. The result is shiny, healthy, detangled hair.
To use, simply squeeze a small amount of Cowboy Magic Detangler and Shine onto your hand or onto the tail or mane and smooth through. Then take a mane brush and gently brush through the tail or mane. You will find that tangles come out so much more easily and without damaging the hair.
We have found Cowboy Magic Detangler and Shine to be the most effective detangling product for our horses' tails. Particularly during the winter, the added benefit is that it repels mud and dirt, helping to keep the tail manageable, even in wet, muddy conditions.
