Neue Schule 8010 Transform Weymouth Bit

Is your horse overactive in the mouth? Is he inwardly fixated on the presence of the doubles and not focusing fully on the rein aids? This is an indication that your horse is not comfortable with the combination of bits in use.

The Transform Weymouth bit is often beneficial for horses with a “short smile” (ie a small distance from the corner of the lip to the muzzle), the busy mouth and tongue evasions.

The Neue Schule Transform depresses the whole width of the tongue, much further back. This creates a larger airway enhancing the horse's ability to breathe and swallow comfortably.

An indication of a restricted airway may be a tense horse that is salivating excessively or even making a gurgling sound.

The Transform Weymouth is also beneficial if tongue evasions have become a habit from problems with other bits earlier on, as there is a lot less room for the horse to successfully draw the tongue back, push down on the mouthpiece or get it over the top. If your horse continues to exhibit signs of distress or discomfort when unable to get his tongue over the bit, we would strongly recommend seeking professional guidance to ensure your horse is comfortable with the bits.
