The Turtle Tactio is an innovative design that focuses rein pressure to the less sensitive, fleshy central part of the tongue whilst diverting pressure away from the sensitive regions near the bars.
The unique central ‘Turtle’ link brings the middle ends of the mouthpiece lengths to their closest separation possible. The Flex design of the mouthpiece widens the surfaces of the mouthpiece that lie on the tongue, while minimising height. This results in reducing pressure further.
The result is a comfortable, mild bit that delivers a wide surface area to the tongue (for greater contact and comfort) but with minimal thickness, so that it mimics both the mouth room of a thin bit, and the comfort of a thick mouthpiece.
