The rug itself is lightweight, with a detachable neck and no fill. It can be combined with other rugs if your horse needs extra warmth. Being lightweight, it can be used year-round whenever your horse needs it.
The underside of the rug is a breathable fabric, that will take the velcro magnets, enabling you to place the magnets just where your horse needs them. The rug fastens at the front with two buckles, and under the belly with two cross surcingles. A plastic-covered fillet string is also included to go under the tail and help prevent the rug slipping.
The neck is fully detachable, with the edges designed to be comfortable and not scratchy.
The rug can be left on the horse overnight and you can add extra rugs on top of it if additional warmth is needed.
For even more versatility, the rug is also compatible with the Equilibrium Hot and Cold packs, and additional magnets are also available separately.
